PM reports on January 2013 results to President Nazarbayev

ASTANA. February 15. KAZINFORM Today, Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov in Astana.
Mr. Akhmetov reported on the results of socioeconomic development of the country in January 2013 and the implementation of instructions given by the Kazakh President at the session on January 23, 2013, the presidential press service told Kazinform.
"In January economic growth made 4.5%. In general, all industries of Kazakhstan have demonstrated positive figures during the first month of 2013," the Premier noted.
President Nazarbayev paid attention it was necessary to control and monitor the socioeconomic development of the country on a constant basis and preserve pace of its GDP growth.
