PM of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov arrives in Kyrgyzstan
Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov has arrived in Kyrgyzstan for a working visit, Kabar reports.
At Manas International Airport, the Kazakh Prime Minister was met by First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev.
Kazakh PM Bektenov has arrived in Bishkek to attend the 12th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Kazakh Intergovernmental Council.
Within the framework of the Intergovernmental Council meeting, topical issues of bilateral cooperation and cooperation in priority areas will be discussed.
Recall that Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan laid down a legal framework for biosecurity cooperation. Kazakhstan’s Aikimbayev National Scientific Center for Especially Dangerous Infections (NSCEDI) and Kyrgyzstan’s Republican Center for Control of Quarantine and Especially Dangerous Infections (RCCQEDI) signed a memorandum of mutual understanding and cooperation.
