PM: No ecological expertise - no new enterprise

ASTANA. January 25. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ The Ministry of Environmental Protection of Kazakhstan has held today a sitting of its board under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Karim Massimov.
As the Head of the Government said, none of new enterprises, even those erected under the state programs, will be approved without an appropriate ecological expertise.
According to him, none of the world financial institutions like the World Bank and the EBRD will finance the projects without an ecological expertise.
As for the old enterprises, they must have a clear plan on emissions, modernization, etc, he stressed.
