PM met with participants of I CIS Teacher's Congress

ASTANA. April 27. KAZINFORM Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov has met with participants of the I CIS Teacher's Congress - heads of the delegations of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan, Kazinform refers to the press service Government.

Chairman of the CIS Council on Cooperation in Education Vasily Strazhev, Minister of Education and Science of Russia Andrei Fursenko, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Armenia Manuk Mkrtchyan, State Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan Akunzhan Abdrashev took part in the meeting.

The Kazakh Premier stressed the importance of the Forum for integration of educational communities of the CIS states, development of interstate cooperation and modernization of educational process. He informed the guests on the State Program of Education Development in Kazakhstan for 2011-2020, worked out by the instruction of the Head of the State taking into consideration new tasks of the post-crisis development, outlined in the Strategic Development Plan of Kazakhstan till 2020.

The participants of the Congress expressed gratitude for the high level of organization of the forum, noting that the conduction of the forum in Astana witnesses high appraisal of educational reforms of Kazakhstan by the educational community of the Commonwealth.
