PM charged to suspend attestation of teachers till 2010

ASTANA. January 22. KAZINFORM /Bauyrzhan Mukanov/ Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov has charged Kazakh Minister of Education and Science Zhanseit Tuimebayev to suspend certification of teachers till 2010 at the Ministry?s Collegium; Kazinform reports.
?The certification will start in 2010, but in 2009 it should be suspended?, K.Massimov said to the Minister.
?The certification of teachers exists in Kazakhstan from 90-s of the last century. Such practice is implemented in all developed countries in hire of labor and after with an interval of a few years?, Z.Tuimebayev said.
As mass media reported, in January, 2009 teachers from South Kazakhstan stood against the certification. According to teachers, examinees should answer 100 questions during 2,5 hours. Making 15 mistakes, they lose their category and increase in salary.
