PM charged Economic Development and Trade Ministry to calculate economic growth targets

ASTANA. April 18. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Today at a special session Head of the Government Karim Massimov charged the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade to prepare calculations of economic growth targets for each sector of economy.
"Once in three months we will monitor the results of achievement of these targets. Mr. Kairat Kelimbetov (Minister of Economic Development and Trade) will make a report on this work within two weeks", K. Massimov said.
The Prime Minister reminded that at yesterday's enlarged meeting of the Government President N. Nazarbayev set a task to join the group of countries with high-income economies. "In order to reach this aim Kazakhstan's annual economic growth rate must be not less than 7%", he stressed.
