PM charged AREM to study unification of legislation on natural monopolies regulation due to country's accession to Customs Union
ASTANA. January 21. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ As earlier reported, Head of the Government Karim Massimov is taking part in an enlarged meeting of the board of the Natural Monopolies Regulation Agency in Astana today.
Addressing the participants K. Massimov reminded of the Presidential instruction to draft appropriate documents for establishment of a single economic space since January 1, 2012.
According to him, national monopolies regulation must be unified across the perimeter. "We have already set to negotiations in this direction. A special commission headed by Umirzak Shukeyev, first Vice Prime Minister, has been established", he said.
"This moment must be thoroughly considered. We must observe the situation with tariffs in the Russian Federation in order to provide competitive environment, since the unification process will cover many tariffs", the Head of the Government said.
