PM: Belarus accepts all EurAsEC credit obligations
MOSCOW. July 12. KAZINFORM Belarus fully accepts obligations associated with the credit extension by the EurAsEC Anticrisis Fund to Belarus, Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich said at the conference "From Customs Union to the Single Economic Space: Business Interests" in Moscow on 12 July, BelTA has learnt.
"I would like to inform the business community and the heads of government of Russia and Kazakhstan that we fully accept the credit obligations within the framework of the credit support extended by the EurAsEC Anticrisis Fund. This pertains to restrictions in government spending, payments, increase in revenues and many other things," the Belarusian Premier said.
Talking about the economic situation in Belarus, the PM pointed to a number of difficulties on the currency market. Nevertheless, the export gained momentum; the gap in the country's balance of payments has narrowed. "I believe within two moths, three at the most, we will resolve all the unsettled issues on the currency market. It pertains to the Belarusian ruble exchange rate and adjustment of prices," Mikhail Myasnikovich said; Kazinform cites BelTA.
