Plushenko wins European figure skating gold

TALLINN. January 22. KAZINFORM Russia's Evgeni Plushenko won the European Figure Skating Championship on Thursday, which he said was the main test before the upcoming Winter Olympic Games next month, Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
2006 Olympic gold medalist Plishenko again defeated Stephane Lambiel of Switzerland, who took silver to Plushenko in Olympic Turin in 2006. Last year champion Brian Joubert of France won bronze, Kazinform cites Itar-Tass. See www.itar-tass.com
