Plant on electrolytic metal manganese production to be launched in Almaty region

TALDYKORGAN. July 15. KAZINFORM /Sandugash Duissenova/ Production of electrolytic metal manganese will be launched on the basis of the Tekeli Mining and Processing Complex.
As akim of Tekeli Serikzhan Beskempirov noted, it will be a joint venture of Electro Manganese LLP and Germany's Thyssen Krupр.
According to the akim, the project will begin in December, 2011; the plant's construction is scheduled to be completed in 2013-2015. The project total cost makes USD 170 mln. Thyssen Krupр company will finance it.
