Plane with Patriarch Kirill onboard diverted to Astana due to bad weather

ALMATY. January 16. KAZINFORM. /Yelena Ilyinskaya/ A plane with Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill onboard flew from Almaty to Astana because of bad weather on Saturday, January 16.
For some time the aircraft circled the city because of dense fog.
Tomorrow Patriarch Kirill is expected to return to Almaty since he is going to have a liturgy and other important activities there.
As is known, the head of the Russia Orthodox Church arrives in Kazakhstan at the invitation of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
