Plane crashes in Malaysia, 1 killed, 1 injured
KULAI, Malaysia,. September 7. KAZINFORM A training aeroplane from a flying institute in the state of Johore, southern Peninsula Malaysia, crashed here on Tuesday, killing the female trainee and injuring the male instructor. Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
The incident took place Tuesday morning at about 9.30 a.m. near an oil palm plantation in Kulai, northern part of Johor Bahru, state capital of the Johore State.
It was learnt that the female victim was burnt to death, while the injured instructor had been rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
According to the coordinator of the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Team, the weather was fine Tuesday morning when the plane crashed.
Quoting a witness, the coordinator said the plane was seen hovering in the air for a few minutes before crashing into a oil palm tree on the ground. Kazinform cites Xinhua. See www.xinhuanet.com
