According to the participants of the meeting, Kazakhstan's chairmanship allowed to move to a new level of development. "Our cooperation with the international community raised to a higher level. TurkPA became one of the well-known international organizations. This year was very successful," TurkPa Secretary General Ramil Gasanov stressed.

During its chairmanship Kazakhstan continued the work on the institutional formation of the assembly. A number of proposals on activation of relations between Turkic speaking countries in social, economic, cultural, humanitarian, political and legal spheres was prepared during that period.

Kyrgyz Minister of Foreign Affairs Ruslan Kazakbaev praised Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the TurkPA in an interview with Kazinform:

- Speaking on the perspectives of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz relations we should remember their history. Kazakhstan is historically brotherly nation for us. Common history, culture and traditions are the basis for our relations. The people's diplomacy is very important in our bilateral relations.

We are brotherly states; both have our own national interests. So I think there will be an important cooperation of parliamentarians - representatives of the people. I think our relationships will develop only in a positive direction. In this context, one of the engines of inter-parliamentary cooperation is TurkPA.

This organization is a very good institution. As part of TurkPA we can find with the Parliament of Kazakhstan more points of contact. For us, it is especially important in light of the fact that we have moved to a new form of government.
