Pensions and aid to rise as of July 1, 2009

ASTANA. April 21. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Today at the Government?s session Minister of Labor and Social Protection Gulshara Abdykalikova informed of pensions and social benefits to be increased this year.
According to the Minister, as pf July 1, 2009 the basic pension will amount to KZT 5, 487 which will make 40% of the living wage.
The minimum pension size will be raised up to KZT 15, 362, average pension ? up to KZT 22, 592 and maximum pension ? up to KZT 32, 220.
