Peak season in “West China-West Europe” road construction expected to start in Sept-Oct: A.Kusainov
ASTANA. June 1. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ "Peak season in the construction of "West China - West Europe" road is expected to start in September- October this year", Minister of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan Abelgazy Kusainov has said today at he session of the Government.
"To date construction works on the project are conducted at 1186 km of the road in Aktobe, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl regions. This month works will be started at two more sections of the road in Zhambyl region, in July - at eight more sections in South Kazakhstan, Aktobe regions. In September the whole corridor will be under construction", A.Kusianov noted.
As the Minister informed, in accordance with the approved schedule 378 km of the road including 70 km with concrete pavement are planned to be opened for traffic by the end of this year.
The Minister said that all issues arising within the project's realization are solved at the sittings of regional administrating centers.
