Pavlodar to hold fair of goods produced by Kazakhstani women
LODAR. October 5. KAZINFORM /Nikolai Kuznetsov/ Republican fair of ideas and goods developed and produced by Kazakhstani women "Kanatty aiyel-3" ("Winged woman-3") will be opened in Pavlodar on October 8, the press service of the regional Governor reports.
About 180 business ladies and craftswomen from all over the country are expected to present their works and familiarize representatives of the OSCE member states and members of international organizations with the Kazakh model of gender equality.
Seminar, trainings and master-classes titled "Woman and Politics", "Marriage and Family", "Women in Business", "Family and Health" will be held within two days. Issues of the gender equality, priorities and mechanisms of its realization are planned to be discussed at a workshop.
Members of the National Commission for Women Affairs and Family Demographic Policy under the President of Kazakhstan, Deputies of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament, representatives of the diplomatic missions, international organizations and leaders of the national political parties are expected to take part in the exhibition.
