Pavlodar held VII Forum of Nongovernmental Organizations

The issues of partnership between the state and civil society institutes for the purpose of realization of the President's Address to the Nation were discussed. "Pavlodar nongovernmental organizations step up efforts to consolidate the civil society. They have established cooperation with the local authorities for the solution of social problems", Akim of the region Bakhytzhan Sagintayev said.

The forum touched upon the role of the institutes of civil society in realization of the state policy, participation of youth organizations in implementation of antirecessionary policy. Upon the results of the forum the participants adopted a resolution suggesting the steering committee of the IV Civil Forum including the issues of youth policy, holding of public review and improvement of the facilities of financing of nongovernmental organizations into the agenda.

About 430 nonprofit organizations are registered in the region.
