Paryz charity fund allocated KZT 5 bln in E Kazakhstan
UST-KAMENOGORSK. KAZINFORM - Within 4 years "Paryz" charity fund, established in East Kazakhstan region, has allocated KZT 5 billion for social assistance, this has been announced by the chairman of the fund Vasiliy Akhayev.
According to his words, the fund was established after the devastating effects of floods, fires, and the dam failure in East Kazakhstan in 2010. Natural disaster destroyed villages in Kurshim, Tarbagatay, Zharminski, Kokpekty, Zaysan, Ayagoz and Abai districts. From 2011 to 2014 the fund, in addition to participating in the construction of social facilities, have supported financially (about KZT 17 million) 31 people, mostly children, who needed medical treatment. Since 2011, the foundation started the implementation of activities under the Memorandum of cooperation between Akimat of East Kazakhstan region and the regional companies including Kazzinc, Ulbin Metallurgical Plant, Kazakhmys. "Paryz" foundation established two hockey modules worth KZT 545 million, renovated facade of the Palace of Sports named after B. Alexandrov, and completed the construction of the Palace of Martial Arts and Athletic Manege.
