Parliamentary elections in Uzbekistan to be held on December 27

TASHKENT. September 17. KAZINFORM. Uzbek parliamentary elections, and also regional district and city council polls are to be held on December 27, a Central Election Commission representative said; Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.
According to the representative the CEC has announced the start of the election campaigning.
All Uzbek citizens of 18 or over can vote in the elections. The number of candidates is expected to increase from 120 to 150 people; Kazinform cites RIA Novosti.
