Parliamentary control is needed to be strengthened – Senator O. Abdykarimov
ANA. February 1. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ It is necessary to strengthen a parliamentary control over the implementation of the development program in the country; Deputy of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament Oralbai Abdykarimov has proposed it today at the session of Onir deputy group.
"The President said: "At last we will provide a tight parliamentary and public control". I would like to pay your attention to the words 'the parliamentary control'. According to our legislation, the Parliament is limited in holding a full-fledge parliamentary control as it is, for example, in the countries with the developed parliamentary democracy", O. Abdykarimov said.
According to him, along with the Governmental Hour and parliamentary hearings it is necessary to hold parliamentary investigations with the creation of parliamentary committees.
He reminded that the work of similar committees created by Nur Otan Party was approved by the Head of the State.
