Parliament approves 2008 budget execution reports
ANA. June 23. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ - The Parliament has approved the reports of the Government and the Accounts Committee on the execution of the national budget of 2008.
As per the Resolution passed by the Parliament, the budget revenues in 2008 amounted to KZT 3 317 601,9 mln; including tax revenues KZT 2 071 407,2 mln; non-tax revenues made KZT 72 844 mln. The revenues from the capital stock sale amounted to KZT 8 575,6 million. Expenditures amounted to KZT 2 703 567,1 million; budget deficit amounted to KZT 327 478,5 million, financing of the budget deficit - KZT 327 478,5 million.
The third clause of the Resolution instructs the Government to enhance the quality of macroeconomic indexes forecasting and the budget planning. The Resolution also envisages a number of other recommendations for the Government and the Accounts Committee.
