Owner of SUV, hit and killed 3, sentenced to 2 months in pre-trial detention

PAVLODAR. KAZINFORM - Today Pavlodar court has sentenced a man for 2 months in pre-trial detention for vehicle's control transfer to a drunk driver, the press-secretary of the regional prosecutor Aimgul Yermulatova informs.
The owner of the SUV has been accused of transferring control of the car to a drunken man who exceeded the speed limit. Both young men fled the scene after the tragedy. The car accident took place on September 24, a man, and two women were hit and killed. The young man, who was driving the car, was arrested immediately after the accident. Today, October 2, the 25-year-old owner of the car has been sentenced to 2 months in pre-trial detention.
