Over past 3 years 'Damu' Fund financed projects totaling $4bln - K. Kelimbetov

ASTANA. July 2. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Over the past 3-4 years 'Damu' Entrepreneurship Development Fund has financed the projects with low interest rate to the total amount of USD 4 billion. Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund Kairat Kelimbetov made it public at the III Astana Economic Forum on Friday.
"If previously the Fund was engaged in direct lending and had managed to finance projects to the amount of USD 200 million in all, now through partnership with second-tier banks the amount of funding is USD 4 billion", K. Kelimbetov noted.
