Over last years Kazakhstan's authority and role grow in int'l affairs - Chinese experts

KAZINFORM /Ruslan Suleimenov/ As Kazinform earlier reported, within the first official visit of Kazakh Foreign Minister Yerzhan Kazykhanov to the People's Republic of China on September 7-9 he delivered a speech to scientific circles of China. The Kazakh Foreign Minister told about main priorities of Kazakhstan's foreign policy.
Representatives of scientific and diplomatic corps of China highly appraised foreign activity conducted by the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs and expressed their opinions on further prospects of development of the Kazakh-Chinese relations.
President of the China Institute of International Studies Qu Xing noted that Kazakhstan is an important neighbor of China and a significant member state of the SCO. Our countries have a good platform and prospects of cooperation in various fields, in particular, ensuring the regional security, energy security, communications and transport field. There are great prospects in all these spheres. "Over the last years Kazakhstan's authority and role grow in the international affairs, interaction of the two countries activates in the corresponding international affairs," he emphasized.
The former Chinese Ambassador to Kazakhstan added that cooperation between our states is at the highest level and is a good example for their countries. "We are neighbors, all results we have reached in the political, economic spheres are a basis for further progressive development," he noted.
