Over KZT 8 billion to be allocated for modernization of Petropavlovsk TPP-2 in 2015

PETROPAVLOVSK. KAZINFORM - Over KZT 8 bln will be allocated for modernization and reconstruction of the Petropavlovsk TPP-2 in 2015, director of the thermal power plant Viktor Barmin informed on Tuesday.

"The percentage of the wear of the equipment of the power plant is 60. We replaced 3 boilers. Now, we began to replace another 12 boilers. We also plan to launch the first turbine on October 1. We have a plan drawn till 2020. Comparing to 2013, the consumption of coal has reduced by 830 tons. In 2015, it is planned to allocate more than 8 bln tenge for modernization and reconstruction of the equipment of the plant. It will be done within the framework of the investment program," V. Barmin said.
