Over 400 thousand out of work in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. January 12. KAZINFORM The number of people in work in Kazakhstan in December 2012 was 8.5 million people, according to the Agency for Statistics.
As compared to the same period last year, their number increased by 36.2 thousand, or 0.4%.
The number of unemployed in December 2012 was 474.7 thousand people. The unemployment rate was 5.3% at the end of December 2012.
