Over 25 dead, 8 missing after Philippine typhoon

JAKARTA. May 6. KAZINFORM A total of 27 people have died and another 8 are missing following a typhoon that hit the northeast Philippines on May 2, regional media said on Wednesday; Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.
Typhoon Kujira triggered landslides and floods which have left hundreds of houses damaged and more than 54,000 people homeless.
Twenty-one people died in a landslide in the southernmost province of Sorsogon in Luzon. Another six drowned in the provinces of Camarines Sur and Camarines Norte; Kazinform cites RIA Novosti.
