Over 13, 000 people to be employed within 2010 Road Map's realization in Karaganda oblast
KARAGANDA. January 28. KAZINFORM /Valentina Yelizarova/ 13, 667 people are expected to be employed under the Road Map 2010 program in Karaganda oblast. The program provides for repair of 509 facilities to the sum of KZT 12.2 bln, Kazinform has learnt from Deputy Akim of the region Toleutay Rakhimbekov who said it at a session of the regional Akimat on the results of 2009 and plans for the current year.
As it was noted, KZT 13.1 bln was allocated for realization of the Road Map in Karaganda oblast last year. Over KZT 12 bln of them were spent for reconstruction of 610 projects in social and housing-utilities spheres. 27, 347 people were provided with jobs due to the program's realization. 80% of them were employed through employment bodies. "In accordance with the President's instruction, Nur Otan People's Democratic Party performed party control over the process of the Road Map's realization", T. Rakhimbekov said.
"One of the goals of the Road Map in 2010 is maintaining the current level of employment. All organization measures have already been taken", Vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection Birzhan Nurymbetov who was among the participants of the session said.
The Road Map provides for realization of 3, 000 projects, KZT 100 bln was allotted from the national budget for this aim. KZT 43.1 bln is planned to be provided from local budgets. According to B. Nurymbetov this will allow creating around 13, 000 jobs.
