Our border with Kyrgyzstan must be protected well - Karim Massimov

ZHAMBYL OBLAST. June 8. KAZINFORM /Galina Skripnik/ At a briefing after visiting checkpoint 'Aisha Bibi' Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov said that the border between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan should be protected well.
K. Massimov informed journalists that Kyrgyz government offered to stop fencing works at the border in view of the intention of Kyrgyzstan to join the Customs Union.
'We support the intention of our neighboring state to enter into the Customs Union but until joining we are responsible for the security at the borders, we will strengthen and protect our borders', the Prime Minister said.
