OSCE Human Dimension Review Conference starts in Warsaw
WARSAW. September 30. KAZINFORM /Kenzhebolat Zholdybai/ The first part of a three-part Review Conference ahead of the OSCE Summit in the field of humanitarian dimension has been started in Warsaw today.
As reported earlier, on August 3, 2010 the OSCE Ministerial Council decided to hold OSCE Summit in Astana on December 1-2. It was also decided to hold the three-part review conference ahead of the Summit: the first part in Warsaw on September 30 - October 8, 2010; the second and third parts in Vienna on October 18-26 and in Astana on November 26-28.
The issues connected with human rights and democracy are on the agenda of the Human Dimension Review Conference. The participants will discuss the performance of their obligations under the Human Dimension, adopted by consensus at previous summit meetings or at meetings of the Council of Ministers.
