OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Kyrgyz President for transition period hold telephone conversation

ASTANA. July 10. KAZINFORM OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Kazakh Secretary of State-Minister of Foreign Affairs Kanat Saudabayev has held a telephone conversation with Kyrgyz President for transition period Roza Otunbayeva; the press service of the Kazakh MFA informs of it.

The sides discussed the measures on implementation of the program of economic rehabilitation of Kyrgyzstan, agreement on which was reached by President Nursultan Nazarbayev and R.Otunbayeva at the meeting in Akorda on July 4.

R.Otunbayeva gratefully accepted the information that by the Kazakh President's Decree there was created a high-level working group headed by First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Umirzak Shukeyev which includes heads of the corresponding ministries and departments of Kazakhstan. According to her, the similar group is created by the Kyrgyz side as well.

The sides agreed on necessity of holding a sitting of the working groups for establishment of specific actions plan program on economic rehabilitation of Kyrgyzstan, including restoration of Osh and Jalalabad.

Moreover, Kazakhstan as OSCE chair country intends to organize International Donor Conference on aid attraction and formation of an investment portfolio for this country.
