OSCE Chairman-in-Office had telephone talk with foreign ministers of Russia, Lithuania and Kyrgyzstan
ASTANA. July 3. KAZINFORM OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Secretary of State-Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat Saudabayev has had telephone talks with foreign ministers of Russia Sergey Lavrov, Lithuania - Audronius Azubalis and Kyrgyzstan - Ruslan Kazakbayev, Kazinform refers to the press service of the MFA.
The parties discussed the situation in Kyrgyzstan after June 27 referendum and the plan of further coordinated actions on ensuring stability and creating conditions for sustainable socio-economic and socio-political development of this country. "As Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev says, long-term stability and sustainable political development of the Kyrgyz Republic is impossible without development of a strategic economic development program for this country, and such program could be developed in cooperation with the Kyrgyz side within the OSCE. Kazakhstan is ready to help in drafting and implementation of such economic strategy", K. Saudabayev stressed.
Besides, urgent issues of preparation and holding an informal Conference of the OSCE Foreign Ministers in Almaty on July 16-17, 2010 were discussed. As it was noted, the event aimed at summing up the results of the comprehensive dialogue on European security within the Corfu process, consideration of interaction on the OSCE space and development of a plan of arrangement of the meeting of the OSCE Presidents and Prime Ministers this year.
