Opening ceremony of Year of Germany in Kazakhstan held in Astana

ASTANA. February 3. KAZINFORM. /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The opening ceremony of the Year of Germany in Kazakhstan has been held in the Palace of Peace and Accord in Astana today.
Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Ministry of Germany Cornelia Pieper made a speech on German-Kazakh partnership and a program of the year of Germany in Kazakhstan for 2010.
"Modern Germany" traveling exhibition was presented within the event. A concert of Bremen German Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra was organized as well.
