Open city championship in rhythmic gymnastics among juniors completed in Astana

ASTANA. October 1. KAZINFORM - The end of September was marked by numerous sport events in Astana. Open city championship in rhythmic gymnastics in group exercises among uniors was one of them, astana.kz reports.

Young Graces were competing over three days. In addition to representatives of metropolitan clubs and child and youth sport school of Olympic reserve № 1 there were guests from Almaty, Karaganda and Kyzylorda regions.

The first place in group events among juniors of 2005-2006 years of birth was taken by sportsmen from the Southern capital with the difference of over 1 point. Valeriya Antonova, Sofiya Amanatova, Nailya Tursungalieva, Aliya Batalova and Alisha Mukasheva gained 19,250 points in the sum of two exercises, outscoring the host team - the first tem of Astana consisting of Aruzhan Sagyndykova, Aruana Bespaeva, Elina Bolemesova, Akerke Murat and Malika Balanova. Metropolitan gymnasts gained 18,200 points in this event. The first team of Karaganda region with the score of 17,500 is on the third place.

In group exercises among juniors of 2001-2002 years of birth, the first place was won by Astana team with 24,650 points in ball and hoop events. Jessica Budnik, Kamila Koptleu, Aruzhan Kazbekova, Dayana Zhakupova, Anel Talgatbek and Regina Sultanova turned out to be better than their rivals from Almaty team, which is on the second place with the score of 19,150.

And in the age group of 2003-2004 years of birth, girls from Kyzylorda sport scool gained the lead. Tolkyn Abdieva, Diana Kanatbek, Zhibek Kadirova, Aizhan Kuandykova, Dana Sadykova and Aruzhan Kurmantai gained 20,150 points in total, being ahead of the metropolitan team. The third place belongs to Almaty team.

Winners and proze winners were awarded with diplomas, medals and prizes.
