Online teleconference between Kazakhstan and Poland held

ASTANA. February 3. KAZINFORM Online scientific-practical teleconference ?School – University: prospects for cooperation development? was held between Kazakhstan and Poland. The teleconference connected simultaneously connected such cities as Almaty, Karaganda, Taraz and Krakow. The organizers are the S.Stashitsa Mining Metallurgical Academy in Krakow and Almaty Academy of Economics and Statistics. The teleconference was held in Kazakh, Polish, English and Russian languages, Kazinform reports.
Representatives of the Kazakh Embassy in Poland, Educational Department of Almaty, educational-methodic center of Almaty, directors of schools and others took part in the teleconference. Multimedia presentations, reports and discussions on different issues of Kazakh-Polish cooperation in the filed of education and science were held within the conference.
Kazakh Embassy made multimedia presentation and report on ?Cooperation of Kazakhstan and Poland in the sphere of education and science, prospects for the development within ?Road to Europe for 2009-2011? State Program?.
Concluding the results of the teleconference, Kazakh and Polish participants noted effectiveness and profitability of the contacts. Kazakh educational institutes intend to extend cooperation with polish universities.
