One Russian, two Uzbeks and seven Kyrgyz citizens - among victims of Karaganda oblast road-accident
KARAGANDA. October 14. KAZINFORM /Valentina Yelizarova/ As earlier reported, 9 people died as a Toyota Previa overturned on the 704 km of Almaty-Yekaterinburg highway today morning.
Driver of the cars and two injured passengers were taken to a hospital of Balkhash town. The car was driving from Russia to Kyrgyzstan, the internal affairs department of Aktogay municipality, Karaganda oblast, reported.
As it turned out, among the victims of the accident is one Russian and three Uzbek citizens. The other five are Kyrgyz citizens. Two injured passengers are also from Kyrgyzstan.
Criminal case has been launched in accordance with article 296 part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan - traffic violence. Preliminary examination showed the accident had been caused by tire blow-out.
