Olympic boxing: Sapiyev beats Maestro 20-9 to reach semifinals

ASTANA August 8. KAZINFORM Kazakh boxer Serik Sapiyev is declared the winner over Venezuela's Gabriel Perez Maestro in the quarterfinal of the men's welterweight boxing at the London Olympics.
Sapiyev won the first round 6-2. In the second round the boxers earned equal number of poitns 5-5. Dominating an active third round Serik beat his rival 9-2.
