Oil spring response under way in Atyrau region
ASTANA. July 8. KAZINFORM - In Atyrau region there continues liquidation of oil-well flowing in Matin field. As reported to Kazinform the emergency occurred on the well on July 6. During drilling operations by "NIA Drilling" LLP (rig ZJ-20) there was a blow-out. No victims and injured reported. To the place of the accident were sent the employees of blowout elimination service called "Ak Beren" and Regional Emergency Department.
According to Emergency Department the analysis of the gas-air mixture discharged from the well showed the presence of 90% related gases, including methane and 10% as much water.
In the liquidation of the accident are involved the well blowout service "Ak Beren," the company developing the field - "Matin Petroleum", and "NIA Drilling" LLP. That is in total 30 people and 8 vehicles.
