Oil production at Kashagan field to begin in March 2013

ASTANA. September 2. KAZINFORM Oil production at Kashagan field will start in March 2013, Chairman of KAZENERGY Association Timur Kulibayev told a press conference during the VII Eurasian Forum KAZENERGY.
Kulibayev said that Kazakhstan aims to increase the local content, including in the oil and gas sector.
"I am sure there is only one way - to produce competitive products that can be consumed not only in Kazakhstan but also in the global market," he noted.
