Oil prices rise by more than 4%

Oil prices surged by more than 4 percent on Monday, WAM reports.
Brent crude futures rose by US dollars 3.86, or 4.2 percent, to settle at 94.98 US dollars per barrel.
US crude futures also gained US dollars 4.80, or 5.5 percent, to settle at 92.16 US dollars per barrel.
Last week, oil prices decreased amid growing concerns that continued restrictions on oil shipping through the Strait of Hormuz will affect global economic growth.
