Oil & Gas Minister: After 2020 Oil Production level in Kazakhstan will reach 1 mln barrels per day

ASTANA. January 16. KAZINFORM - After 2020 oil production level will reach about one million barrels per day, this has been informed by the Minister of Oil and Gas Uzakbai Karabalin during the 15th meeting of ''KAZENERGY'' Association Council.
''Kazakhstani major oil projects such as "Tengiz","Karachaganak" and "Kashagan'' with reserves of seven billion barrels and more are included in the world Top-60", said Karabalin.
According to his words the country's new opportunities may open up with the already announced by ''KAZENERGY'' project named "Eurasia" which will provide new information on the target potential of the Caspian basin.
