Oil export volume in Kazakhstan jumps at 71 mln tons per year
ASTANA. February 14. KAZINFORM Oil export volume has risen up to 71 million tons per year over the years of Kazakhstan's independence.
Vice CEO of JSC "NC "KazMunaiGas" Company Magzum Mirzagaliyev told "Oil and Gas" Kazakh content" forum in Astana on Thursday.
"Over the decades of independence Kazakhstan has done a lot: the annual oil export volume has skyrocketed from 13 up to 71 million tons; 4 thousand km of oil pipelines have been installed," Mr. Mirzagaliyev noted.
In his words, the expansion of the Caspian pipeline consortium (CPC) is currently in the full swing as well as the construction of the Kazakhstan-China trunk oil pipeline.
In addition, KazMunaiGas is now busy with three large oil and gas Tengiz, North Caspian and Karachaganak projects.
