Oil discovered in Atyrau region

ASTANA. October 7. KAZINFORM - «Max Petroleum Plc» British company has discovered oil drilling appraisal wells in North Eskene and Uytas fields in Atyrau region.
According to the company's press service "ESKN-2 appraisal well in North Eskene field reached a depth of 1,523 meters. Production tubing for testing is being installed".
UTS-12 appraisal well in Uytas field also showed the presence of oil during drilling.
NOTE: «Max Petroleum Plc» is a British company specializing in exploration and production of oil and gas. The company owns the blocks "A" and "E" of the contract area of East Alibek as well as Astrakhan block.
