Nursultan Nazarbayev, Wu Bangguo had talks
ASTANA. September 27. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has met today with visiting chairman of the NPC Standing Committee Wu Bangguo in Astana.
"This year Kazakhstan marks the 20th anniversary of independence and China will celebrate soon its 62nd anniversary of the country's independence. In the past years we boosted our cooperation both in politics and economics," Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
:For the years of cooperation the two nations settled cardinal problems such as the border issue between Kazakhstan and China. Chinese companies work in Kazakhstan's oil and gas sector. We have built oil and gas pipeline to China."
Wu Bangguo expressed gratitude to Nursultan Nazarbayev for the invitation and warm welcome.
