Nursultan Nazarbayev to visit Hungary in June

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev in June of the current year will pay an official visit to Hungary, this has been voiced today during the second session of the Kazakh -Hungarian commission for cooperation in combating organized crime, terrorism, illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.

"This meeting is being held as part of the forthcoming visit of the Kazakh Head of State to Hungary. The visit is planned to sign three agreements", said the deputy chief of headquarters department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mukhtar Abdishev, on the sidelines of the round table.

It should be noted that this will be the third visit of the President of Kazakhstan to Hungary. The first two were held in December 1994 and in November 2007 and resulted in signing of the intergovernmental agreements, and establishing the Kazakh-Hungarian Commission for the fight against organized crime, illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances and the fight against extremism.

It bears to remind that Hungary was among the first countries, which on December 26, 1991 recognized the independence of our country. March 1992 it was decided to open the Hungarian Embassy in the city of Almaty. In turn, Kazakhstan opened its diplomatic mission in Hungary in March 1993.
