Nursultan Nazarbayev, David Cameron discuss situation in Ukraine

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has had a telephone talk with Prime Minister of Great Britain David Cameron today on the British side's initiative, the Akorda's press service reports.

The two leaders discussed state and prospects of the Kazakhstani-British relationship, including implementation of the agreements reached during Cameron's state visit to Kazakhstan in July 2013. They also exchange views on issues of the international policy, including the preparations for the forthcoming Nuclear Security Summit in The Hague on March 24-25. During the telephone conversation, utmost attention was paid to the critical situation unfolding in Ukraine. Both Nursultan Nazarbayev and David Cameron reiterated their interest in peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian crisis through diplomatic negotiations and mechanisms of international mediation.
