KAZINFORM - The State-of-the-Nation Address of President Nursultan Nazarbayev "Nurly zhol - Path to the Future" should be considered as a specific plan of complex reforms amid global instability, Senate Speaker of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev said at the international conference themed "President. Parliament. Integration".

"In his address the Head of State responded to the main present-day challenges. In my opinion, this document is of strategic and international importance and should be considered as the plan of complex reforms amid global instability. The parliamentarians should ensure legislative provision of this unique anti-crisis program," Mr. Tokayev said. He also added that the best practices prove that success of the socioeconomic reforms, strengthening of inner political stability and security largely depends on the quality of government of the state. Prior to the conference, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev met with his colleague Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Sergei Naryshkin. During the meeting, the sides debated relevant issues of Kazakhstani-Russian cooperation and paid utmost attention to the inter-parliamentary dialogue. Sergei Naryshkin came to Astana on Monday to attend the abovementioned conference.
