?Nur Otan? aims to improve life in South-Kazakhstan Region

SHYMKENT. January, 19. KAZINFORM /Tatyana Pylayeva/ Regional Forum of ?Nur Otan? Party members of South-Kazakhstan Region took place in Shymkent, Kazinform correspondent reports.

The city and regional districts heads, reps of enterprises, non-governmental organizations and mass media were invited to the forum of ?Nur Otan? party. Chairman of ?Nur Otan? South-Kazakhstan branch, Akim of the Region Nurgali Ashimov made a report ?For the well-being and prosperity of Kazakhstanis: how we can improve the lives of every citizen of the country?. 26 regional programs, which define the set of organizational, economic, social, environmental, financial and technical measures aimed at addressing the major socio-economic and other challengges for the development of the region are being developed and implemented in the region. Much attention is paid to health care. Construction of 19 health facilities was envisaged in 2008. Including 13 units amounted to KZT 5 393.8 mln at the expense of the republican budget, 6 facilities amounted to KZT 1 499.7 mln from the regional budget. To the beginning of December two of them were commissioned. This is a blood center in Shymkent and rural hospital in Otrar district. In accordance with the project ?20 Intellectual Schools under the First President? the opening of two schools is planned in the South-Kazakhstan region. In addition, over 3 years four vocational schools will be built. Executive Authorities were recommended to economize the existing and finding new resources and Party branches of Maslikhats were recommended to tighten control over it.
