Number of Saiga in Kazakhstan reached 187 thousand

ASTANA - The Ministry of Environment and Water Resources of Kazakhstan will continue to work on the conservation and restoration of rare and endangered species of wild ungulates and saiga, this has been said by the Minister of Environment and Water Resources Nurlan Kapparov.

"Today there is a positive trend of increasing the number of saiga, which in 2013 reached 187 thousand of heads ie it increased almost nine times", he informed.
