Number of dead endangered antelopes up in Akmola region

According to Nurlan Kulbayev, the head of the regional emergency department, as of today 8,086 dead saiga antelopes were found in the region. The fallen animals were located and buried. Recall that several days ago 1,000 dead saiga antelopes were discovered in Kostanay region. Experts are blaming pasteurellosis for the mass die-off of saiga antelopes in Kazakhstan, but the diagnosis is not confirmed.
